Next Generation Triggers 1st Technical Workshop

The first technical workshop of the Next Generation Triggers project took place from November 25th to 27th 2024, at the end of the first year of the project. During the workshop, all of the work packages presented their progress during 2024 and plans for the year ahead. It was great to see this project really getting going with much exciting work being done. I presented on behalf of the CMS “Practical real-time AI for Level 1 Trigger and L1 Scouting” task, showcasing our results on improvements to electron reconstruction; jet tagging; and ML Operations.
